Evolving Health Needs of the Post-9/11 Veteran Community

The New York State Health Foundation presents The Evolving Health Needs of the Post-9/11 Veteran Community on May 10, 8:30am-12:30pm.

Today’s veterans face unique challenges that are different from those of past generations. In the midst of so much change, what are the most pressing issues the veteran community faces today? How have these changes during the nearly two decades our nation has been at war affected veterans and their health? Who are the innovators working collaboratively to address veterans’ issues?

Phillip Carter, J.D., Senior Policy Researcher, RAND Corporation, will deliver the keynote address. Mr. Carter was formerly the Senior Fellow and Director of the Military, Veterans, and Society Program at the Center for a New American Security. Mr. Carter is an innovator and thought leader in veterans and military policy issues.
