General Assembly is a pioneer in education and career transformation, specializing in today’s most in-demand skills. The leading source for training, staffing, and career transitions, they foster a flourishing community of professionals pursuing careers they love. They have two programs to help veterans.
- Veteran Credit: On Veterans Day last year, Scott Kirkpatrick, the COO and a veteran himself, announced that GA would be offering a 10% tuition credit for veterans to use toward any of the part-time or full-time courses.
- Opportunity Fund: General Assembly's social impact programs promote diversity, access, and socioeconomic mobility. The Opportunity Fund provides 100% fully-funded scholarships to courses in web development, user experience design, data science, and mobile development for low-income individuals, with a special focus on underrepresented communities, including women, people of color, veterans, and LGBTQ individuals. More than 300 veterans have completed the full-time immersive programs.
