Help celebrate the 100th birthday of WWII veteran Casper (Gary) Inzerillo on March 7, 10am, with a Drive-By Parade. Rain date is March 14. Assemble at Michael J. Tully Park.
Several other WWII heroes will ride in the parade in WWII military vehicles and then join Mr. Inzerillo in his front yard. Please help show our “Greatest Generation” the appreciation and gratitude the Long Island Family has for all our WWII Heroes.
The parade will be recorded with drones and regular cameras. You are encouraged to wave, salute, and blow kisses to the cameras and drones as if you are speaking to our Veterans directly. So, smile and say thank you for your service, God bless America and we love you, etc.
This is an apolitical event, all about recognizing our local war heroes and showing the gratitude and appreciation we hold for America’s veterans, especially WWII veterans.
All safety, hygienic and social distancing protocols will be observed during the assembly and parade.
Please confirm by email that you will participate in the parade.
