Intrepid Access Family Program: Navigation: Finding Your Way

Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will host Navigation: Finding Your Way, an Access Family Program at the Museum on Sunday, June 12th.

From ships and planes to submarines and even space shuttles, vessels of all types use navigation to find their way. Families will explore historic spaces and methods that people have used to navigate at sea and up high, and will make connections to how we find our way today.

11am-1pm for Children (ages 5-18)

More about Access Family Programs:

The Intrepid Museum offers monthly programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These programs take place on select Sundays during regular Museum hours. Families take a guided, interactive tour or virtual tour of the Museum and can participate in art-making activities that everyone can enjoy.

In 2022, Access Family Programs alternate each month between virtual and in-person programs. Virtual programs take place over Zoom and include at-home activity packets. In-person programs take place at the Museum, with a morning session for children and an afternoon session for teens and adults.

Visit the Museum's Access Family Programs page here to see the full schedule.
