The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum presents a virtual learning opportunity "High Flying Design" on Thursday, October 14, 3-4pm (Eastern Time) for children ages 5-15. Have you ever wondered how planes fly? Explore the parts of a plane and how nature influences shape and design. Learn about the four forces of flight, then create your own simple flying machine at home!
An Intrepid Museum educator will engage families online each Thursday at 3:00pm (Eastern Time), exploring themes is history, science and ingenuity. The Museum requests that adults participate in the program with their children. Programs run between 45 minutes and one hour. Advance registration for this drop-in online program is required to receive Zoom information and print-at-home materials when necessary.
