The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum presents a virtual learning opportunity "Intrepid Women" on Thursday, October 21, 3-4pm (Eastern Time) for children ages 5-15. Women have made a significant impact on the air & space industry, from the dawn of flight, through wartime efforts, and even as pioneers in the space industry! Hear the stories of some of these brave, unsung women who paved the way for gender equality in their fields, and discover the impact their work has had on the next generation of women in STEM!
An Intrepid Museum educator will engage families online each Thursday at 3:00pm (Eastern Time), exploring themes is history, science and ingenuity. The Museum requests that adults participate in the program with their children. Programs run between 45 minutes and one hour. Advance registration for this drop-in online program is required to receive Zoom information and print-at-home materials when necessary.
