Intrepid Air, Sea & Space Museum will hold a special Intrepid After Hours event, Meet the Skyray, on Tuesday, September 28, 4:30-8:00pm for current and former service members only.

Come join fellow current and former service members in celebrating the latest addition to the Museum’s aircraft collection, a Douglas F4D Skyray! This exact aircraft flew from Intrepid during the Cold War. Air Force veteran Eric Boehm, Curator of Aviation and Aircraft Restoration, will speak about the importance of this new aircraft and his work to bring it back where it resided 60 years ago. Peter Toracca, Manager of Aircraft Restoration, will share his plans for restoring the Skyray in this behind-the-scenes program.

Boxed dinners will be served at the end of the guided program. Both indoor and outdoor seating options will be available.
