Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will host the Intrepid Book Club: The Right Stuff by Tom Wolfe at the Museum on Tuesday, March 29, 6-8pm.
Intrepid Book Club is going back in time to the early days of the Space Race by reading Tom Wolfe’s classic The Right Stuff. Since its publication in 1979, this account of early test pilots and the Mercury 7 has been an inspiration for generations of astronauts. Come join fellow veterans and their loved ones to discuss these men’s daring journeys into space. This is an in-person program at the Intrepid Museum. There will be a brief tour of the Museum focused on Intrepid’s historic connection to the book. Refreshments will be served.
Free with advance registration! Copies of the books are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis.
This program takes place at the Museum. All visitors must follow the Museum's health and safety guidelines
