The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will hold a live Memorial Day Ceremony at the museum's pier on Monday, May 31, 11am.
The Intrepid Museum invites current and former service members and their loved ones to join their annual Memorial Day Ceremony, which honors the men and women of the United States armed forces who have given their lives in defense of our nation. The ceremony will include remarks by civic and military leaders, as well as the laying of memorial wreaths in the Hudson River in honor of the fallen, a three-volley rifle salute and the sounding of Taps.
This year, the ceremony on the pier requires advance registration. Space is limited. If you are interested in attending, please complete this form. Current and former service members and their families may register up to four people each.
For those unable to attend the ceremony in person, the Memorial Day Ceremony will also be livestreamed on the Museum’s social media channels.
