Intrepid Museum presents its 3nd Annual Virtual Youth Summit on Saturday, June 12, 11am-7pm (Eastern Time). This is a FREE virtual conference around the theme of "Transforming HOPE into ACTION." Attendees will be able to participate in concurrently diverse workshops, presentations and panel sessions. Through HOPE and ACTION, they’re amplifying youth voices in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and math) and civics.
This event is most appropriate for ages 14-21, however all are welcome to join. Participants will connect with each other by sharing dialogue and their own ideas and analyzing/questioning the world to come up with solutions for important issues. Intrepid Museum encourages all attendants to participate, whether presenting your own projects or learning from your peers.
These last two years continue to mark the recognition of intersectionality in issues of racism, equity, access, innovation, politics, public health, STEAM and more. The fight and brave discussion for change continues to be led by teens and young people, empowered professionals and youth-serving cultural organizations.
