Intrepid On Liberty: National Air & Space Museum

Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will host Intrepid On Liberty: National Air & Space Museum on Thursday, February 24, 6-7pm EST.

Join the Intrepid Museum and fellow veterans, service members and their loved ones for this virtual staycation. They will be Zooming into the Washington, DC area to visit with the National Air and Space Museum. Dr. Margaret Weitekamp, Space History curator, and Intrepid Museum’s Senior Educator Jim Tardiff will discuss different eras of space tourism. Dr. Ross Irwin, curator in the Center for Earth and Planetary Studies, will follow up the talk by discussing where private space travel is heading today and the impact it will have on the future of NASA. Come learn about this fascinating and rapidly developing topic!
