Join the Intrepid Museum and fellow veterans, service members, and their loved ones for a virtual staycation called On Liberty: The National WWII Museum on January 22, 5pm (ET). For this kick-off session, they will be Zoom into New Orleans to explore The National World War II Museum. The National WWII Museum’s senior historian, Robert Citino, PhD, and curator Joshua Schick, will be joined by the Intrepid Museum’s curator of history and collections, Jessica Williams, to discuss the Pacific War and collections from both institutions.
Virtually visit museums all across the country with the Intrepid Museum as we remain socially distant. Join fellow veterans, current service members, and their loved ones to explore museums from near and far with connections to the Intrepid Museum’s history and collection. Each program will be guided by museum curators and educators, with plenty of opportunities to share and ask questions. No travel is needed for these interactive virtual visits!
