New York County Lawyers Association offers a Pro Bono Training: Legal Protections for Military Members and Veterans in Housing and Employment on September 24, 3-5pm.
This CLE is designed to educate attorneys on the protected class status active military members and veterans have under New York City and New York State law. It will focus on anti-discrimination law in the areas of housing and employment.
Attendees will learn:
- who is protected,
- how and when the provisions apply, and
- how these laws can benefit military and veteran clients
