If you are an individual with a disability, there are no pre-requisites to joining the Adaptive Climbing Community Day! They welcome all experience levels and disabilities to join for their free half-day climbing event. This is a safe and supportive opportunity for people who have never tried climbing to get on the wall, as well as for experienced adaptive climbers to share insight with the newly trained facilitators about their climbing experiences and about disabilities. Those experienced climbers who want to assist with facilitating, click here.
The course will be hosted at an indoor rock climbing gym. Please bring your climbing harness, lunch, and snacks. Dress code is casual and should be suitable for on-the-wall learning. If you do not have climbing equipment, it may be borrowed from the gym.
