The New York Metro Chapter of the National Montford Point Marine Association presents their Annual Dinner Dance on November 10, 4-9pm. Dress is formal wear or your military equivalent. 

The past six years have seen monumental posterity cast upon the Montford Pointers ( circa 1942-1949) with the awarding of the Congressional Gold Medal (June 2012), and the Christening of USNS Montford Point T-ESD-1 (March 2013) the 1st in its class. All of this aimed at affirming the amazing contributions by African Americans who have served in this country's military and United States Marine Corps.
