MTA Skilled Trade Careers Virtual Event

The MTA offers a "Spotlight Event on Skilled Trade Careers" online on Wednesday, April 21, 3-4:30pm (Eastern Time).

Learn about the MTA and its skilled trade opportunities such as Car Maintainer, Car Inspector, Structure Maintainer (Ironwork and Sheet Metal) and Track Equipment Maintainer. You will learn about the MTA’s hiring process and hear from agency representatives who will share their experience working as a skilled trade professional. You will also learn about the MTA’s exam process.

Candidates should have education and several years of experience in any of the following areas: Heavy-Equipment Mechanic, Sheet Metal Worker, Machinist, and Ironworker.
