National Guard Dissertation Research Study

Participants are sought for a dissertation research study that will examine the knowledge of suicidal behaviors and stigmas regarding treatment-seeking in Army National Guard soldiers. 

If you are at least 18 years old, have served in the US Army National Guard on or after September 11, 2001 and have at least one day deployed to a war zone (received hazardous duty pay for a deployment), then you are eligible to participate. Upon completion, you will be eligible to  participate in a drawing for one of eight $25 Visa gift cards. The research is being led by Charley Blunt, a doctoral level student researcher at Adler University and an Army National Guard veteran, and supervised by his faculty researcher advisor, Dr. Grady L. Osten-Garner. The project has been approved by Adler University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB).
