NYMAS Lecture: Robert E. Lee and Me: A Southerner's Reckoning with the Myth of the Lost Cause

The New York Military Affairs Symposium (NYMAS) will host an online lecture, Robert E. Lee and Me: A Southerner's Reckoning with the Myth of the Lost Cause, on Friday, January 21, 7pm (EST).

Dr. Ty Seidule, Chamberlain Fellow at Hamilton College and Professor Emeritus at the US Military Academic at West Point will discuss his latest book, Robert E. Lee and Me: A Southerner's Reckoning with the Myth of the Lost Cause.

Going beyond beyond the Confederate memorial controversy, Dr. Seidule engages in both a personal reflection and scholarly examination of the destructiveness of the Lost Cause myth throughout American history.
