Operation Code NYC offers a Foliage Hiking Trip to Harriman State Park on October 19, 8:45am-5:45pm. Take a break from hectic city life and stroll through the woods for a day. This hike will follow the Tuxedo-Mt Ivy trail to Triangle trail to Black Ash Mountain. They will be moving at a leisurely pace of 1.5 mph or less and expect about 6 hours to complete with long breaks.

Meet at 8:45 am at Penn Station to purchase the tickets for the Port Jervis train to Tuxedo. You will be responsible for paying for your transportation, gear, and food. The round-trip train ticket costs $22.50. 

Lunch break will at Lake Sebago. Lunch will not be provided, so please pack any food that does not perish fast.

* Comfortable hiking shoes
* Extra layers (fleece and/or windbreaker)
* Trail snacks (nuts and fruit mixes and beef jerky are great)
* Water (at least 3 liters)
* Small hiking pack
