Poetic Theater Productions Veteran Voices: The Interview Sessions: Stacey Bell

Poetic Theater Productions presents Veteran Voices: The Interview Sessions: Stacey Bell online via Zoom on Saturday, June 5, 7pm (Eastern Time).

The Interview Sessions are a series of intimate artist conversations interviewing veterans whose art as actors, poets, visual artists, and playwrights inspire all at Poetic Theater Productios.  The series highlights the individuals behind the art, and the importance of art on their journey as veterans reintegrating into civilian life.  In 90 minutes, fellow veterans Jenny Pacanowski (featured in NY Times, ABC, Turner Classisc) and Omar Columbus (CA and NY poet and gallery curator) connect with the featured artist, share clips of past work, and share new works in development.  Audiences are welcome and encouraged to ask questions.  Join them and get to know the veterans (and family members of veterans) behind the voices you hear in Poetic's shows.

This month, they will interview Stacey Bell.  Stacey Bell is a US Army veteran, writer, playwright, and performer originally from Illinois.  She has been published in "Shark Reef," "Mobius," and the anthology "Lycan Lore."  She received her MA in Medieval Studies in 2015 from California State University, Long Beach, and now lives in New York, NY with her partner and two adorable cats.
