ReelAbilities Film Festival Screening with Q&A at Intrepid Museum

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will host a veteran-focused documentary film screening and discussion at the Musuem on Tuesday, April 12, 6pm.  The film, titled "Here. Is. Better." is part of the ReelAbilities Film Festival.

In this personal documentary, the intimate lives of veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are shared during hopeful therapy sessions. From men to women, Vietnam War to present day, stories are unlocked that dispel myths about PTSD and place focus on veterans’ journeys to a place of healing. Featuring former presidential hopeful Jason Kander.

Following the screening there will be a Q&A with the film's director Jack Youngelson, producer Sian Edwards-Beal and featured veteran Tabitha.

This program is open to the public and free with advance registration. Veterans and their loved ones are specially invited to attend.
