Participants in the Rent Freeze Program are required to renew their Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption (SCRIE) or Disability Rent Increase Exemption (DRIE) in order to continue saving on their rent. During the past year over 5,000 tenants across New York failed to do so and are in danger of losing this valuable benefit. They must submit a renewal application as soon as possible.

The Department of Finance hosts a Rent Freeze Renewal Information Session on April 6, 1pm (ET).
