Serving Military Families: Best Practices & Hidden Benefits

Register for the seminar on Serving Military Families: Best Practices & Hidden Benefits February 17, 9am.

Serving military families can provide your organization with a tremendous opportunity to expand your scope of services and offer mental health support to military spouses and children whose needs are currently underserved. According to the DoD, there are more family members (57.2% - including spouses and children), than military personnel (42.8%) among all branches of our military forces. Yet, few service providers know what is required to successfully reach and deliver services to military families.

Providing services to military spouses have some hidden benefits as well, because spouses are:

  • In a unique position to recognize the signs and symptoms of a mental and/or substance use disorder in a loved one.
  • A key influence for service members and veterans to seek treatment and remain in recovery programs.

Register here. Seating is limited.
