Annual Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony will take place at Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument in Manhattan, May 30, 2016. This year's event will commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the death of Admiral Chester W. Nimitz. Event is free and open to the public, led by the New York Scottish Pipes and Drums, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and the Veteran Corps Artillery.
