The United Staten Island Veterans Organization presents a Veterans Day Remembrance Ceremony at Ocean View Cemetery on November 11, 11am. Virus protocols will be observed, social distancing and masks required.

Keynote speaker is Judge Philip S. Straniere (designated an acting Supreme Court Justice in 2004, and retired in 2017). The Patriot Brass Ensemble will perform WWI songs and a ceremonial rifle volley will be performed by Marine Corps League, Detachment 246, followed by Taps from Ann-Marie Leonard, president of the South Shore Band.
