Day of Wellness
The Joseph Dwyer Veterans Peer Support Project of Suffolk County invites you to our 9th annual Day of Wellness this summer on June 10th. The Day of Wellness is completely free to attend, open to all, and is dedicated to celebrating veterans, promoting self-care, and fostering community wellness.
Attendees can look forward to breakfast, lunch and snacks, massages, equine therapy, and kayaking. There will also be face painting for children, dozens of vendors, and a free raffle. There are indoor and outdoor spaces.
The Day of Wellness is open to veterans, active military personnel, their families, civilian allies and supporters, and veterans' advocates. The 9th annual Day of Wellness will take place June 10th, at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck in Center Moriches, from 9am to 4pm EST. Operation Family Resiliency
Team RWB has joined Humana Military's Military Health and Resilience Collective Impact Project alongside the Military Family Advisory Network and Blue Star Families. The collective is designed uniquely to provide holistic support to military families, focusing in particular on physical health, mental health, and influencing policy. The collective has launched Operation Family Resiliency (OFR) with the goal of advancing military families through physical, nutritional, mindfulness and sleep tools.
