The Posse Veterans Program is now accepting applicants for Fall 2022 college admission.
The Posse Veterans Program identifies, trains, and supports veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces interested in pursuing bachelor’s degrees at top colleges and universities.
Those accepted into the program attend college as part of a team of veterans—a Veterans Posse. Participants receive training prior to matriculating on campus and mentoring once enrolled. In addition, Posse partner colleges provide veterans in the program with supplemental funding to cover the full cost of tuition.Read more
Military Veterans in Journalism (MVJ) and National Public Radio (NPR) are offering an internship opportunity for Fall 2021. Selected candidates will work at both the Business Desk and NPR One Desk from October 4, 2021 - April 15, 2022. The location is flexible: interns can work onsite in Washington D.C., fully remote, or hybrid, but will be expected to put in 40 hours per week. NYC Human Resources Administration is seeking candidates for paid internships with the NYC Clean Up Corp. This is a full-time internship that pays $20 per hour.
