The New York City Department of Veterans’ Services (DVS) Expense Budget totals $6.1 million. DVS seeks to hire an experienced, talented, and highly motivated individual to serve as the agency’s Budget Director. The candidate will have latitude for independent judgement and be responsible for directing and controlling the agency’s budgeting and financial forecasting activities.  The Budget Director will be expected to lead the process for annual, quarterly, and monthly budget development.  The Budget Director will represent the agency with key external stakeholders such as the Office of the New York City Comptroller and the city’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for agency budget actions and at the agency level, be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the agency’s expenditures against the authorized budget.

MTA is seeking a Manager for the Security Emergency Response Team (SERT).  This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of $70,287 to $104,296.

The Manager, Security Emergency Response Team (SERT) will be accountable for managing the survey of all rooms, tunnels and wide areas, with special attention to areas attracting trespassers in an effort to secure transit infrastructure and maintain it free of debris. The incumbent will coordinate with various NYCT departments to repair defects, remove refuse and or secure rooms where trepassing has been detected, while coordinating with the NYPD on cases of vandalism. This position will be also responsible for managing security personnel and property protection at all bus depots/subway yards and NYCT facilites in the five boroughs.

Animal Care Centers (ACC) of NYC is seeking a Donor Database Manager.  This is a full-time, non-union position and is not eligible for overtime. 

The Database Manager will be an integral part of the Development team, maintaining an effective infrastructure to support the Development Department. MTA Metro-North is seeking a Power Lineman.  This is a full-time position with a starting pay rate of $25.11 per hour (65% of the full rate).  The full rate of pay is $38.63 which is reached in the sixth year of employment.  Those approved for journeyman's rate (based on qualifications) start at 80% of the full rate.  Applicants will establish seniority in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union (IBEW), the union representing Power Lineman, in accordance with the union's current collective bargaining agreement.

The Power Lineman is responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, repair and maintenance all aspects of the high tension, building power and feeder distribution systems and power support structures.
