Fleet Week New York is back with lots of in-person events throughout the city! Events begin on Tuesday, May 24 and end on Tuesday, May 31.

TMF #TheHonorProject
This Memorial Day, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) needs your help to honor as many fallen heroes as possible for #TheHonorProject. If you have a loved one or battle buddy interred at one of the participating national cemeteries listed below, submit their name so their volunteers can honor them.
Arlington National Cemetery (Arlington, VA)
Jacksonville National Cemetery (Jacksonville, FL)
Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery (San Diego, CA)
Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery (Fort Leavenworth, KS)
Fort Logan National Cemetery (Fort Logan, CO)

West Point National Cemetery (West Point, NY)
At TMF, they believe it’s our duty to stand in for the families of the fallen by visiting and honoring those who have sacrificed for our country on this national day of remembrance. Help them pay tribute to our nation’s fallen heroes in a special way.
Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade
The Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 30, 2pm. The parade will begin at Jayson Avenue and Northern Boulevard.

Bay Shore-Brightwaters Memorial Day Parade
The Bay Shore-Brightwaters Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 30th. Veterans services will begin at 9am at Memorial Park/Bay Shore Train Station. Parade step-off is at 10:30am at Lanier Lane and Main Street. The parade will proceed down Main Street to Brentwood Road and on to Oakwood Cemetary.

Apply to March in the Bay Shore-Brightwaters Memorial Day Parade
The Bay Shore-Brightwaters Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 30th. Veterans services will begin at 9am at Memorial Park/Bay Shore Train Station. Apply to March in the Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade
After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, the Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade, founded in 1927 by the American Legion Post #103, is back! The parade committee is accepting applications from groups who would like to march in the parade. The parade will take place on Memorial Day - Monday, May 30. Start time is 2pm.

American Airpower Museum's WWII Arsenal of Democracy Air Demonstrations
In observance of Memorial Day Weekend, American Airpower Museum (AAM) continues their historic participation in the Jones Beach Air Show, flying their fabled "Arsenal of Democracy" warbirds over Jones Beach on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29! AAM’s fleet of iconic and meticulously restored military aircraft will include a B-25 Mitchell Bomber, Douglas C-47 Skytrain troop transporter, Grumman TBM Avenger Torpedo Bomber, P-51D Mustang Fighter, Curtiss P-40 Warhawk Fighter, and two AT-6 Texan Trainers. Two FA-18 Super Hornet Growlers will be in attendance, subject to other military commitments. AAM’s WWII aircraft will also have a practice fly day Friday, May 27.

The Old Glory Relay is a national movement showcasing the strength, grit, and commitment of American veterans in support of their well-being. Throughout the 44-day event, thousands of supporters will unite to walk, ruck, run, push, and cycle a single American flag from Washington, DC to Birmingham, AL to The World Games presented by Airbus opening ceremony.
Rooted in an epic display of patriotism, the Old Glory Relay epitomizes what Team RWB is all about - showing our nation’s veterans that their best days are ahead through a strong focus on health and wellness. This year, The Old Glory Relay will travel 3,100 miles through 15 states.
