The GRECC (Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Centers) DEP (Dementia Education Program), funded by the VA Geriatrics Scholars Program, invites all caregivers of veterans with dementia to join them virtually via Microsoft Teams for educational groups designed to improve self-care and reduce stress.

Caregivers will:

Receive the latest evidence-based information

Participate in group discussion, reflection, and journaling exercises to increase awareness of feelings, emotions, and personal areas of strength

Groups are free for caregivers thanks to VA Geriatric Scholars Program with generous funding from the Office of Rural Health.
