The Daily Show Veterans Immersion Program

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah offers a unique opportunity to veterans interested in television production, entertainment and the arts. This is a three-week program for post-9/11 service members and veterans beginning in mid-March located in New York City.

This program is designed to provide veterans and service members with the opportunity to explore the technical, logistical and creative opportunities that exist in the industry through two seminars and a networking event. In these seminars, staff members will provide an in-depth look into the roles that make a live-to-tape television show possible, on both the production and creative sides. Each seminar will be followed by a mingling session with The Daily Show staff and the program will culminate in a networking event featuring a wide array of industry professionals; the event will allow veterans to make contacts and explore potential career paths.

To be considered, you must be able to commit to the following (all in New York City):

1)    Two Wednesday night seminars (approximately 7-9pm) on both of the following dates: March 15th & March 22nd

2)    Program-end networking session on March 29th (approximately 7-9pm)

To apply for this opportunity please complete a brief electronic application by clicking here. The application will require basic contact information, a short paragraph detailing why you should be considered for the program and your general media interests in addition to a photograph or headshot. An American Corporate Partners staff member will reach out to you shortly after receiving your application.

To apply for consideration, submit the electronic application by Friday, February 10th, 2017. This is a free but selective program and only a limited number of applicants will be chosen.
