Theater of War: Antigone in Parkchester

Theater of War presents Antigone in Parkchester on February 7, 11am-1pm. Featuring the actors: Nick Choksi, Nandita Shenoy, Devika Bhise and Sendhil Ramamurthy.

Theater of War is a free, interactive performance of scenes from ancient plays about the visible and invisible wounds caused by violence and war. The event is open to everyone, including veterans and their communities, students, artists, and concerned citizens. Each performance is followed by an audience discussion led by community panelists. This groundbreaking project is designed to promote understanding, compassion, and positive action. Translated, directed & facilitated by Bryan Doerries, Public Artist In Residence (PAIR), City of New York.
