Travis Manion Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) will host a one-hour mental health & well-being webinar: Mental Health & Well-Being Resources for the Military Community on Thursday, September 1, 12pm ET. TMF & WWP leaders will discuss the spectrum of mental health and why we aspire to thrive.
Results from a recent Wounded Warrior Project survey show that 2 in 3 veterans say they feel embarrassed or ashamed about receiving mental health care. What’s more, nearly 3 in 5 (59%) say they don't know where to find it. Join this webinar to better understand and access the resources available to veterans, active duty service members, and their families. You will learn how to access no-cost resources to improve mental health and achieve thriving, no matter where you are on your well-being journey.
Leaders will each discuss their organization’s approach to promoting well-being in the military community. A Spartan WWP alum will share her first-hand mental health experience and common obstacles to thriving she sees in the military community. Veterans, families of the fallen, active duty military, and their families will walk away with resources and action items to help access mental health resources and achieve thriving.
