The James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx will host a Telehealth Education Session at the Medical Center, 8th floor, Room 8A-05 on Wednesday, July 13, 8:30am-12:00pm.

These education sessions are offered every Wednesday and cover:

Home Telehealth: Taking care of your chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and heart failure) from the comfort of your home

My HealtheVet: Access your medical records online, refill your prescriptions, secure messages with your providers, and view upcoming appointments

VA Video Connect: Allows veterans and their caregivers to meet with VA health care providers quickly and easily through live video on any computer, tablet, or mobile device with an internet connection

Tele-Eye Screening (Store and Forward): Quick and easy screening for veterans to help detect the most common eye conditions that cause visual impairment (diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration)
