The Alameda County Veteran Mental Health Collaborative, organized by Swords to Plowshares, is hosting a virtual meeting focused on Veterans Treatment Courts (VTC) on Wednesday, April 27, 4:00-5:30 pm EDT (1:00-2:30pm PDT). Attendees will learn about these collaborative justice courts that seek to address veterans in court proceedings who are also experiencing a variety of mental health issues by providing support and treatment.
Speakers are bringing their knowledge of Veterans Treatment Courts and what we can do to aid veterans who are either going through VTC or for veterans who may be in need of VTC.
There will be time for Q&A, discussion, and collaboration among attendees. They invite you to participate even if you haven't attended a collaborative meeting before.
Confirmed speakers:
Chase Finney, LCSW, Veterans Justice Outreach Specialist of the Oakland VA Clinic
Lynsey Scott, Treatment Court Manager for the Alameda Office of Collaborative Courts
