The Man o' War Project hosts a day of service resources, mental health information, and networking to honor our local veteran community.

The Man o' War Project, Earle Mack Foundation, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and New York State Psychiatric Institute, invite you to join us for a day of celebrating our veteran community with local service providers and veteran community leaders. Learn about our veteran equine-assisted therapy program, The Man o' War Project (EAT-PTSD), hear remarks from our researchers and guest speakers, see live Man o' War equine therapy protocol demonstrations, interact with the horses, network with other veteran and mental health community leaders, and enjoy refreshments as you tour the grounds of the beautiful Indian Hills Farm at Bergen Equestrian Center in Leonia, NJ ahead of Veteran's Day.
***Limited tickets with FREE transportation available from Columbus Circle on the Upper West Side of Manhattan to Bergen Equestrian Center. If you need transportation from Manhattan to attend, select at registration checkout. Transportation tickets are limited, please only select if you are sure you will attend.
Bus will arrive for pick up at Columbus Circle at 12:00pm and depart for Bergen Equestrian Center promptly at 12:15pm. Return service will depart from BEC at 3:00pm to Columbus Circle.
Please be sure to dress appropriately for a November day at a farm. If you would like to participate in an equine session demonstration be sure to wear boots.

Guest Speakers include:
Prudence Fisher, Ph.D., Co-Director
Dr. Prudence Fisher is Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatric Social Work in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Research Scientist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
Yuval Neria, Ph.D., Co-Director
Dr. Yuval Neria is Professor of Medical Psychology at the Departments of Psychiatry and Epidemiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Director of the PTSD Research and Treatment Program and the Military Family Wellness Center at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Dr. Neria grew up in Israel and participated in the Yom Kippur War (1973) and the Lebanon War (1982).
Matthew Ryba is Director of Community Outreach and Education for New York Presbyterian's Military Family Wellness Center.
