Swing by on September 5, 10am-6pm, to see the Future Labs' new prototyping space, learn what you can do with the machinery, and find out more about what’s cooking at the ProtoShop.
The ProtoShop is built to meet the hardware needs of New York’s entrepreneurs. If you have a hardware startup or your startup has hardware components — whether it’s packaging or prototyping — you can work at the ProtoShop to design a scalable prototype and do small-batch prototyping for early pilots, all with an eye toward growth.
Their shop can support machining and metal fabrication, softgoods, and digital designs. They house CNC router and welders, plasma cutters and powder coaters, sewing machines, drill presses, and much more. Housed at the Veterans Future Lab, the ProtoShop currently offers free access for a limited period of time (and will remain free for those with military ties past and present).
