The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum presents High Flying Design, a virtual learning opportunity on Thursday, January 13, 3-4pm (EST) for children ages 5-15. Have you ever wondered how planes fly? Explore the parts of a plane and how nature influences shape and design. Learn about the four forces of flight, then create your own simple flying machine at home!
An Intrepid Museum educator will engage families online each Thursday at 3:00pm (EST), exploring themes is history, science and ingenuity. The Museum requests that adults participate in the program with their children. Programs run between 45 minutes and one hour. Advance registration for this drop-in online program is required to receive Zoom information and print-at-home materials when necessary.
