Warrior Writers will host a Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Writing Workshop virtually on Tuesday, October 19, 7:30-9:30pm (Eastern Time).
This workshop will consist of prompts from BIPOC writers and/or articles about topics that pertain to our communities. The first session will be focused on excerpts from Black and Indigenous Chapbook authors. Please bring yourself, your ancestors, your heart, and of course your words to this exciting new space we’re creating to share in our life experience as people of color that goes beyond the military. Regardless of experiences with writing, combat, art, deployment, etc, any veteran or service member who identifies as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color is welcome at this workshop. No prior writing experience is required.
Facilitated by Eddie Falcón and Angela Waller.
