Women of Honor Equipped to Triumph Prayer Brunch

The National Association of Black Military Women, NYC Chapter, presents the "Women of Honor Equipped to Triumph" Prayer Brunch on March 9, 10am-1pm.

Take this time to honor, recognize and celebrate National Women’s History Month and to recognize and share "HerStory" of African American Women Who Serve or have served in the United States Armed Forces.  A day of community camaraderie, honor, respect and an inspiring tribute.

Keynote Speaker:Rev. Melvin E. Wilson, St Matthew A.M.E. Church

Honoree: CSM Latosha K. Ravenell, Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion, Fort Hamilton. Additional special guests to be announced.

The National Association of Black Military Women (NABMW) is an association of women located throughout the United States who are veterans from every branch of military service and era or current members of the United States Armed Forces. It was founded under the former name of "The Black WAAC, WAC, Women in Service." 

The National Association Of Black Military Women (NABMW) serves to share and document the history and stories, "HerStory" of African American Women who serve. The NABMW celebrates service through educational, military ceremonial observances and public service community events.
