Women Veterans Transitioning to Civilian Life

Easter Seals and FedCap Solution Series presents a breakfast and panel discussion called Women Veterans Transitioning to Civilian Life on March 27, 8-9:30am.

Women veterans - who number two million, about 9% of the U.S. veteran population - experience deployment and reintegration differently than their male counterparts. While they struggle with childcare, employment and housing, they are also leaving a complex, male-dominated culture that can include sexual harassment and assault, and significantly impact what happens during and after transition to civilian life.

This Solution Series will explore these transition challenges faced by post-9/11 female veterans and their peers from previous conflicts. A distinguished panel of experts, including female veterans, will provide insight and offer solutions for addressing the needs of these returning heroes.

Registration is required as the room fills up rapidly. There is no cost to attend the event. Email solutionseries@fedcap.org if you have questions.
